一、Fixed or Trolley Mounting — Which One Do You Need?

Both versions share the same hoist core — the only difference is how the hoist is mounted and whether it can travel along a beam.

Aspect Fixed Type Trolley Type
Mounting Bolted directly to a beam, support frame or workstation Suspended from a trolley that runs along an I-beam
Movement Lifts vertically at one fixed point Lifts vertically and travels horizontally along the runway
Best for Repair stations, machine tool loading, single-point lifting Production lines, warehouse loading, covering multiple workstations
Pick it if… Your lifting point never changes You need to move loads across the bay

Tips: Not sure? Tell us your application and we'll recommend the right mounting.

Why Choose ALLMAN Electric Chain Hoist?

1. G80 High-Grade Load Chain — Manufactured from hardened alloy steel, the G80 chain delivers high wear resistance under repeated daily lifting. The 3 t model uses a single-fall chain design that reduces friction points, runs more smoothly and extends chain service life.

2. Die-Cast Aluminum Housing — The lightweight die-cast aluminum body dissipates heat efficiently, keeping temperature rise low even during continuous operation — and it makes the hoist easier to mount and maintain.

3. Electromagnetic Brake — The hoist stops and holds the load automatically the moment power is cut off, preventing load slipping and protecting operators and goods.

4. 125% Overload Protection — When the load exceeds 125% of rated capacity, the hoist stops automatically, protecting the motor, the chain and, most importantly, your people.

5. IP54 Protection — Sealed against dust and water splashes, the AMEH is built for demanding workshop environments.

6. Optional Dual Speed — Switch between fast lifting for efficiency and slow speed for precise positioning — ideal for assembly and fine-handling tasks.

FAQ

Q1: What is the difference between a fixed and a trolley-mounted electric chain hoist?

A1: A fixed hoist is bolted to one position and lifts loads vertically at that single point. A trolley-mounted hoist is suspended from a trolley that travels along an I-beam, so it can lift loads and move them horizontally across the bay. Choose fixed for dedicated workstations, and trolley-mounted when you need wide coverage.

Q2: How much weight can a 3 ton electric chain hoist lift?

A2: A 3 t AMEH hoist is rated for 3,000 kg safe working load, with 125% overload protection that stops the hoist automatically if the load exceeds rated capacity.

Q3: Can an electric chain hoist be mounted stationary?

A3: Yes. The fixed-type AMEH is designed to be bolted directly to a beam, gantry or support frame for stationary single-point lifting.

Q4: What IP rating and working duty does the AMEH hoist have?

A4: The AMEH series is available with IP54 protection and M4 working duty, suitable for demanding industrial environments.

Q5: What warranty and after-sales support do you provide?

A5: All AMEH hoists come with a standard 1-year warranty. Our team provides technical support, spare parts supply and after-sales service for the lifetime of the product.

Q6: Do you provide CE certificates and export documents?

A6: Yes. CE marking is standard, and we provide full export documentation — commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin — to support customs clearance.
