Smarter Workshop Lifting — Electric Chain Hoist Solutions That Keep Production Moving

一,The Challenge — What's Slowing Your Workshop Down?

You're not alone. Most workshops face the same three bottlenecks:

1. Equipment That Can't Keep Up Your production line demands continuous lifting, but standard-duty hoists overheat, trip breakers, or need constant maintenance — costing you unplanned downtime and missed delivery deadlines.

2. One-Size-Fits-None Solutions Every workshop is different: ceiling height, beam configuration, load profile, operating environment. Off-the-shelf hoists force you to compromise — wrong mounting type, insufficient lift height, or controls that don't match your workflow.

3. Supplier Gaps That Become Your Problem You buy a hoist from one vendor, a trolley from another, controls from a third. When something goes wrong, nobody owns the full system — and your production stops while they point fingers.

二, The ALLMAN Solution — End-to-End Workshop Lifting

We sell more than just cranes. We offer a complete material handling solution, from hooks to control systems. Three pillars, single supplier, zero compatibility risk:

Electric Chain Hoists:

— Lifting Core: Our AMEH electric chain hoists—perfectly match your beam structure and work cycle.

Installation Methods:

— Hook models, electric trolley models, low headroom models—tailored to your rail and travel requirements.

Control Systems

— Handheld controllers, wireless remote controls, or integrated into your production line PLC—meeting your diverse workflow needs.

三,Why ALLMAN — Built Different, Backed by Proof

  • M4 Duty as Standard: Most workshops need more than M3 intermittent duty. ALLMAN electric chain hoists are designed to M4 work duty as the baseline — meaning they handle 40% ED (cyclic duration) and 300 starts per hour without overheating. That's double the duty cycle of many competing models at the same price point.
  • G80 Chain — Not a Premium Add-On: We don't charge extra for safety. Every ALLMAN chain hoist ships with G80 alloy steel load chain — calibrated pitch, heat-treated links, 4:1 safety factor.
  • Die-Cast Aluminum Body: Lighter than cast iron, stronger than stamped steel. The aluminum housing that dissipates heat faster and resists corrosion — critical for workshops with humidity, dust, or temperature swings.
  • IP54 / IP55 Protection: Dust, moisture, and metal shavings are workshop reality. Our hoists are sealed to IP54 (AMS) or IP55 (ER) — rated for dusty environments and low-pressure water jets. You focus on production; the hoist handles the environment.
  • 125% Proof Load Tested: Every single unit is overload-tested at 125% of rated capacity before it leaves our factory. You get a test certificate — not just a promise.
  • Certifications That Open Doors: We have obtained CE and ISO certifications, ensuring that our products meet the required standards.
  • Customization, Not Compromise: Need stainless steel chain for a food-processing workshop? Zinc-plated vs. black oxide chain for corrosion resistance? 60Hz motors for the Americas? Non-standard lift height? We build to your spec, not our inventory.

四,Real Workshop Applications

Challenge: A Slovenia automotive parts supplier needed fixed-point hoists for their engine component assembly line. Tight ceiling clearance ruled out standard hook-mounted hoists. They also required VFD (variable frequency drive) for soft-start positioning of sensitive castings.

Solution: One AMEH low-headroom crane (5 tons, equipped with a frequency converter, dual speed), using an electric trolley-mounted installation. The low headroom design allows for a lifting height of up to 380 mm. The frequency converter eliminates load sway during start/stop, thus protecting the castings and operators' safety.

Result: No parts damage occurred during the first year of operation. Customers have given very positive feedback on the electric chain hoists provided by ALLMAN.

六,FAQ

Q: How do I know which mounting type I need?

A: Fixed type if you lift at one position. Trolley (manual or motorized) if the hoist needs to travel along a beam. Low-headroom if your ceiling is tight. Send us your beam dimensions and we'll recommend.

Q: Can you match my existing beam flange width?

A: Yes. Trolley flange adjustment range is specified for each model. If your beam falls outside standard ranges, we can customize the trolley.

Q: What's the difference between single-speed and dual-speed?

A: Single-speed = one lifting speed. Dual-speed adds a slow ("creep") speed for precise positioning — essential for assembly work, mold handling, or any task where load placement accuracy matters. The cost difference is typically 10-15%.

Q: Do you supply spare parts?

A: Yes. We maintain a spare parts inventory for every model we sell. Brake coils, chain guides, contactors, pendant assemblies — all available as off-the-shelf items. We also provide a recommended spare parts list with every hoist.

Q: What if my workshop power supply is different?

A: Standard models support 220V~690V 3-phase 50Hz. We can also supply 220V 3-phase 60Hz (Brazil/Americas), 415V 3-phase 50Hz (Australia/SE Asia), and single-phase 220V for portable models. Just specify your voltage and frequency.
