Q: What's the difference between the PNW manual winch and an electric winch?

A: The PNW is hand-operated — no battery, no power cord, no motor to maintain. It's the right choice for locations without electricity, intermittent-duty cycles, or applications where simplicity and budget are priorities. If you need powered operation, explore our AMWS electric winch series.

Q: How does the Free Spool lever work? Is it safe under load?

A: Flip the lever to "Free" and pull rope out by hand — no cranking needed. Flip back to the drive position, and the gear train engages. The worm gear design is self-locking: the load cannot back-drive the mechanism when the lever is in drive position.

Q: Can the winch be mounted vertically?

A: The standard design uses a horizontal base plate. Vertical or angled mounting is achievable with a custom bracket — share your installation drawing, and our engineering team will propose a solution.

Q: What are the MOQ and lead time?

A: Sample orders: 1 unit accepted. Bulk orders: 50 units MOQ. Lead time: 15–20 days for standard models, 25–30 days for custom configurations.

Q: Do you supply spare parts?

A: Yes. Gears, handles, drums, bearings, seal kits, and mounting hardware are all available individually. We recommend keeping a spare gear set on hand for high-frequency operations.
