Looking for Heavy-Duty Electric Winches Built for South America’s Harsh Mining and High-Altitude Environments?
In South America’s bustling construction sites, high-altitude Andean mining operations, and humid maritime ports, low-quality commercial winches frequently suffer from motor burnouts caused by voltage fluctuations, brake slippages, and rapid rust. For machinery stockists and equipment distributors, high failure rates destroy profit margins and local reputation.
The ALLMAN AMWE Solution: Designed specifically to satisfy heavy industrial demands, our AMWE series combines heavy-duty pure copper motors with instantaneous electromagnetic braking. With flexible 60Hz/50Hz voltage adaptations (220V / 380V / 440V) and robust IP55 enclosures, the AMWE winch delivers flawless performance across LATAM environments while providing distributors with exceptional profitability.
1.Tailored Multi-Voltage & Dual Frequency Adaptability
South American industrial grids vary significantly between countries. We provide tailored motor winding for 220V, 380V, 440V, and 480V at both 50Hz and 60Hz, ensuring seamless local grid compatibility in Brazil, Chile, Peru, Colombia, and Argentina without risk of motor overheating.
2.Fail-Safe Electromagnetic Disc Braking System
Features an automatic electromagnetic disc brake that engages instantly when the electrical power is interrupted. Holds 100% of the rated capacity vertically or on steep inclines with zero slipping, ensuring compliance with strict mining and construction site safety codes.
3.High Rope Capacity Drum with Neat Spooling
Equipped with an extended-capacity steel drum precision-machined with high flanges. As seen in our factory test units, high-tensile steel wire rope is spooled smoothly in dense layers, drastically reducing wire rope friction and wear during long-distance pulling operations (up to 100m - 200m+).

Robust IP55 Industrial Motor: Enclosed motor casing resists dust, heavy moisture, and ambient environmental degradation, ideal for Andean high-altitude or coastal maritime climates.
Enclosed Planetary Gearbox: High-tensile alloy steel gears operate in a sealed oil bath for maximum heat dissipation, quiet operation, and prolonged heavy-duty service life.
Pre-Wired Weatherproof Control Panel & Pendant: Comes factory-fitted with an integrated electric control box using high performance standard components and a low-voltage (24V/36V) ergonomic pendant with an Emergency Stop button.
Heavy Steel Base Plate with Anchor Slots: Pre-drilled steel base allows rigid bolt-on anchoring onto concrete foundations, mobile trailers, or structural steel frames.

OEM Branding & Custom Color Options: We support machinery stockists across South America with custom laser-etched nameplates and casing powder coating matching your local corporate identity (e.g., High-Visibility Orange, Industrial Yellow, or Custom RAL codes).
Compact Packaging for Lower Maritime Freight: All AMWE winches are wrapped in protective film and packed in IPPC-compliant fumigation-free plywood cases, engineered for maximum space-utilization inside 20ft/40ft shipping containers from our Nantong production base to Latin American ports (Valparaiso, Callao, Santos, Buenaventura).
Full Technical Bidding Documentation: We supply complete drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, and test certificates to help our distributors win local industrial and governmental tenders.
Q: Can the AMWE winch run stably on the standard industrial voltage: 220V 60Hz 3-Phase or 440V 60Hz?
A: Yes, absolutely. We frequently export to Latin America and fully understand the local grid requirements. Our engineering team in our Nantong factory custom-winds the motors specifically for 220V/380V/440V at 60Hz. The motors run cooler, maintain 100% torque output, and will not suffer premature insulation breakdown caused by frequency mismatches.
Q: Can this winch handle vertical lifting in high-altitude mining areas above 3,000 meters in the Andes?
A: Yes. High altitudes feature lower air density, which affects motor cooling. For high-altitude mining projects in Peru, Chile, or Bolivia, we configure the AMWE with Class F insulation motors, IP55 protection, and optimized fan cooling fins, ensuring reliable continuous operation and safety under thin-air thermal conditions.

Q: On large open-pit mining sites or multi-story construction sites in South America, wired pendants restrict operator visibility. What remote control options are available?
A: In addition to the standard heavy-duty wired pendant, we offer industrial-grade Telecrane / TELECONTROL long-range wireless remotes. They operate on secure, anti-interference frequencies with an effective operating distance of up to 100 meters (or 150m boosted variants), allowing operators to position themselves in safe, high-visibility zones away from the load path.
Q: As an equipment rental company or distributor, we are concerned about brake maintenance. Is it difficult to maintain or adjust the air gap of the electromagnetic brake?
A: Maintenance is very straightforward. The electromagnetic disc brake is installed inside the protective cover at the rear end of the motor shaft. It features easily accessible torque adjustment bolts and replaceable friction pads. The brake gap is pre-adjusted at the factory, so it is ready for use without further adjustment. Should the gap change, it can be adjusted by following the instructions in the manual.
