ER Series—Heavy-Duty Chain Hoists Built for Durability

一、The Problem: Your hoist can't keep up with operational demands

Most electric chain hoists on the market are designed only for light-duty, intermittent use. They might function adequately when lifting half-loads a few times a day, but under high-intensity conditions—such as continuous shift operations, near-capacity loads, and frequent start-stop cycles—problems arise:

1. Motor overheating, triggering thermal protection shutdowns mid-shift.

2. Single-speed limitations: speeds are unsuitable for either precision positioning or long-distance lifting, with no option to switch speeds.

二、The ALLMAN SolutionER Series: Built to M5 standards; no compromises made to achieve a low price

The ER Series is not merely a light-duty hoist with an "upsized" label. It was designed from the ground up for heavy-duty electric chain lifting—ideal for production environments characterized by harsh conditions, heavy loads, and zero tolerance for downtime.

1. M5 Duty Rating—True to the "heavy-duty" label. Most budget hoists are rated M3 or M4; while sufficient for occasional use, they fail to meet high-intensity production needs. The ER Series meets M5 standards, meaning it can handle frequent lifting at high load factors without overheating or premature wear. Even during continuous multi-shift operations, heat-dissipating fins on the aluminum alloy housing effectively manage temperatures.

2. Grade 80 Chain—No cutting corners to save costs. System reliability depends on the weakest link. The ER Series comes standard with high-strength Grade 80 lifting chain, offering superior strength, fatigue resistance, and longevity compared to the lower-grade or unrated chains found in budget models. This is critical for environments where chain failure is absolutely unacceptable.

3. Dual-Speed Flexibility—Standard single-speed operation with optional variable frequency drive (VFD) speed control. Traditional single-speed hoists often force a trade-off between speed and precision: prioritizing speed sacrifices accuracy, while prioritizing accuracy compromises operational efficiency. The ER series eliminates the need for compromise, delivering both. The standard single-speed mode handles routine lifting tasks efficiently; with the optional variable frequency drive (VFD), you can switch to a controlled low-speed mode for millimeter-level load positioning—offering two operating modes in a single hoist without sacrificing performance.

4. Features a 24V/36V/48V low-voltage control system. Operators handle low-voltage controls rather than high-voltage live components. In many hoists, control pendant cables carry full line voltage (220V or 380V), posing a serious electric shock risk if the cable is damaged. The ER series prioritizes safety; its low-voltage control circuit ensures the pendant carries only 24–48V, while high-voltage components are strictly contained within the hoist body.

5. Equipped with an electric trolley for four-way movement. While hook-suspension models suit fixed-point lifting, adding the ER electric trolley meets needs requiring lifting, lateral movement, and precise positioning. It enables omnidirectional movement—up, down, left, and right—fully controlled by a single operator using one pendant. No manual pushing or pulling is required, nor is a second person needed to guide the load.

6. Global power compatibility. Supports three-phase power with voltages of 220V, 380V, or 440V and frequencies of 50Hz or 60Hz—the ER series is configured to local power standards right from the factory. There is no need to worry about transformers or complex rewiring. CE certified and designed for global application.
